Mode of Delivery
This programme is offered through multiple learning modes to ensure accessibility and flexibility:
- Online (OL): Virtual sessions for remote participation.
- Face-to-Face (F2F): In-person workshops.
- Distance Learning (DL): Self-paced study materials.
- Blended Learning (BL): A mix of online and in-person engagement.
Outcomes
- Build the holistic capacity of SMTs to lead data-informed change by developing favourable school conditions that foster the optimal use of school-based data.
- Enhance SMT’s ability to co-constructively solve school-level literacy problems which negatively impact teaching and learning ─ through regular job-related data usage;
- Promote the frequent use of computer response systems (technologies) as an enhancing tool to WSI;
- Entrench school-wide literacy practices through collective ownership of the CAPS curriculum resulting in improved learner outcomes and learner success.
Curriculum
- Unit 1: Introduces the purpose of the programme by delineating its broad learning aims.
- Unit 2: Introduction to the nuances between Change leadership and Change management, focuses on collaborative leadership, collaborative leadership culture.
- Unit 3: Three measures of central tendency, the importance of validity and reliability for trustworthy data, and the current school computer response system (CRS).
